Deiona Carter Boswell, MS, LPC, CPCS
My name is Deiona Carter Boswell, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I acknowledge that it can be difficult to seek help for mental health issues and I work diligently to create a safe space for my clients on this journey. I believe that you as a parent are an expert on your child and I value working as a team to help your child reach their full potential. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families by helping individuals reach their goals in all aspects of their lives. My belief is that no two clients are the same and I enjoy creating interventions and activities that incorporate clients’ interests. I use techniques from various counseling models as I get to know my clients and begin working on identified goals. By maintaining unconditional positive regard and empathy for all clients, I am able to provide a safe and supportive environment. I look forward to working with you and your child!

As a pre-licensed therapist specializing in work with children and adolescents, I know how painful it can be to watch your child struggle and feel unsure of how to help. It’s incredibly hard to see them hurting and not know what steps to take. My role is to offer children a safe, nurturing space where they can explore who they are, discover their strengths, and begin to grow and heal.
I use approaches that meet each child at their level—through creative expression, play-based techniques, and developmentally appropriate conversations. These tools allow children to process emotions, build healthy coping skills, and make sense of their inner world in a way that feels natural and supported.
At Building Bridges, I offer an empathetic and non-judgmental environment where your child can safely explore their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. I also work closely with parents and caregivers throughout the process, offering guidance and encouragement, so you feel supported, informed, and connected in your child’s journey toward emotional wellness.
